Problem

Yemas, a traditional Spanish-Filipino egg-yolk candy, is well-loved locally but often remain tied to local settings and are not widely recognized internationally. Packaging tends to be simple - leaning towards a more hand-molded homemade draft - unique presentation but not well suited enough for a modern consumer appeal and needs – purpose of gifting, portability, and branding consistency.

Objective

To modernize and reintroduce Yemas as a culturally authentic yet versatile treat. The goal is to expand beyond nostalgia into a product that resonates with contemporary lifestyles, becoming a staple in casual snacking, gifting, and celebrations worldwide.

Solution

By creating a strong, flexible brand identity and packaging system, Yemas is positioned as both nostalgic and innovative. The pyramid shape is preserved as its signature, while customizable and festive packaging makes it appealing for multiple contexts: from daily indulgence to premium gift sets. Branding communicates heritage while connecting with modern, global consumers.
